About Us

The Western New York Motocross Association (WNYMA) evolved from the Western New York Sports Committee (WNYSC) which was founded in 1974. 

The 2014 year marked a milestone of 40 continuous years of providing our riders with great racing in a family oriented atmosphere. Continuing the originating organization's tradition, the WNYMA is a rider-run organization which sanctions motocross races.  

In a democratic manner, the WNYMA members elect its board of directors who serve three year terms.  

One of the many great benefits of the WNYMA is the fact that our rules are tailored to the riders and the WNYMA prides itself on the tradition of being family oriented. Our families often spend a whole weekend at the tracks and the WNYMA tracks enjoy special family activities on just about every Saturday night that there is a race event weekend.
